It is music for the כינור 'violin (previously lyre, harp, lute, zither, cf. Br 4:21)', often with accompaniment of plucked or struck strings such as guitar, harp, harpsichord, koto, piano. Of intermediate level generally. Stylistically the music is located between Temple music, classical music—J.S. Bach first of all, Isaac Albéniz, Max Bruch, Frédéric Chopin, Felix Mendelssohn etc.—, Farid Farjad, traditional Japanese music, Jazz (Bebop), Klezmer, Mazurka, Phrygia and today's breeze. But most important: Whatever tool one uses, it is advisable to know its strengths and weaknesses. And since the violin is my tool, I look out for and create music that sings without words, see the Library card וכנור 'and the violin'.
This will more and more be the place for my arrangements of copyrighted works.
In case of own compositions and arrangements of public domain pieces, about 50% of the sale price reaches this project. In case of arrangements of copyrighted works, it is about 10%.
