About NotarikoN
Tanakh Acronym Finder
The core of NotarikoN
Two pages do the real work of this site; the others only serve them. Search lets you run any Hebrew letter pattern across the Tanakh and see where it surfaces as a first- or last-letter acronym. Library gathers the rare and meaningful acronyms that survive that search — each one appearing only once under defined circumstances.
The main achievement
The main achievement of this webpage is a highly systematic approach to Notarikonim. That allows to reveal a consistent harmony or correlation between rare meaningful acronyms and the passage they occur in—a harmony that is additionally substantiated by 4 resp. 5 biblical equations: God is the Word and the Truth, God is One, God is the Beginning, and God is the enD.
Who is behind it
NotarikoN is authored and maintained by Rabbi Yéhouda. The biblical texts are sourced from the Mechon Mamre edition of the Leningrad Codex, with English translations from the Koren Jerusalem Bible (via Sefaria, used with permission under CC BY-NC).
